ASHFALL2126
Rule a nation in the ashes of 2126. A text, turn-based war game you play inside an X post. Spend your turns, raid a rival, and the battle report lands where they can answer it.

The world
The bombs fell a century ago. Nobody agrees on who threw the first one, and nobody alive remembers. What is left is the Ashlands: salt flats, glass deserts and drowned cities, carved into nations by whoever could hold a fence line.
In 2126 the ash has settled enough to farm. The rigs at Saltmarsh pump again. Drones are cheap and oil is not. Warlords hold the map, and every acre belongs to someone who wants yours.
The Ashfall Gazette resumed printing after one hundred years. Its first headline: EVERYONE IS STILL HUNGRY.
How it plays
One every 15 minutes, bank up to 30 hours. Play once a day and you lose nothing. Play four times a day and you are dangerous.
Every turn you spend, your nation earns, eats, grows and pays its army. Spend twenty turns and twenty seasons pass for your people.
Explore for acres (it costs cash and slows as you grow), then build: enterprise zones, farms, oil rigs, labs, residences, barracks, foundries, construction sites.
Raids take land. Strikes burn buildings. Pillage takes cash and food. You can only hit nations between 60% and 200% of your size, and hitting the same target again pays less each time.
If someone hits you, you get +15% against them for six hours. Every raid is an invitation, and every report is a link the victim can answer.
Headlines written by AI from the real battle log. It never decides who wins: the engine does, and every battle can be replayed from a public log.
| unit | cost | off | def | upkeep |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Infantry | $120 | 1 | 1.5 | $1 |
| Drone | $380 | 4 | 1 | $3 + |
| Bastion | $550 | 0 | 6 | $3 |
| Mech | $900 | 6 | 5 | $5 + |
Eras
The game runs in eras. Everyone starts equal on day one with 250 acres, and the era ends on a fixed date when the engine freezes and the ladder is final. Titles and medals carry over; empires do not.
- Day one: settle.
- The middle: growth and raids.
- The last days: the endgame. Clan wars, and the only time nukes are possible.
| Beta Era | Express (Era 1) | Standard | |
|---|---|---|---|
| length | 7 days | 7 days | 14 days |
| one turn every | 10 min | 10 min | 15 min |
| bank cap | 180 turns (30 h) | 180 turns (30 h) | 120 turns (30 h) |
| token | none, free | lock to enlist | lock to enlist |
| prizes | Founding Warlord title, top 50 | SOL from trading fees | SOL from trading fees |
Every action goes into a hash-chained public log. The era's random seed is committed at the start and revealed at the end, so anyone can replay the whole era and check the results.
What the token will do
The coin's creator fees flow to a program vault that no key can withdraw from. The pot only pays out through posted era results, a fixed ops share, or a dormancy fallback.
Lock a set amount of tokens for an era to field a prize-eligible empire. Unlock any time: before or after the era costs nothing, but unlocking mid-era turns your empire to ruins.
Each era, 70% of the pot goes to prizes, 20% seeds the next era and 10% pays for running the game. Prizes cover the networth top 10, the top clan, a daily Warlord of the Day and four awards.
Rations (+24 turns, once a day), clan founding, a single endgame nuke and cosmetic flags, titles and renames are token burns with limits enforced on chain.
The operator posts one merkle root per era with the revealed seed and the log hash. Claims open after a 24-hour challenge window and only pay wallets that stayed locked.
Anyone with an X account can play free, capped at 2,000 acres and not prize-eligible, and can enlist mid-era keeping their progress.
These are design defaults and can change before launch. Prizes come only from trading fees. Nothing here is a promise of returns. 18+.
